The Kentucky Sheepskin sheepskin breastplate cover protects the horse's chest where the breastplate meets the coat. On horses that sweat during intense work, the sheepskin acts as a cushioning, anti-friction layer.
Material. Genuine sheepskin with a soft inner layer, top side with attachment loops for the breastplate.
Cut. Anatomically shaped — doesn't press on the shoulder, follows the chest. Two sizes.
Details. Velcro attachment, washable at 30 °C with wool shampoo. Universal fit for most Kentucky and compatible breastplates.
