  • High waist is now standard, holds belly and hips and doesn't slip when seated. Check CT Academy High Waist, Kentucky Velvet, or RG with high waist. Classic hip-waist cut works too, but modern high waist is more comfortable.
  • Women's have wider hips, narrower waist, ergonomic front shaping. Men's are straighter with different pocket placement. If you're female wearing a unisex model, watch waist - may be too loose.
  • IT/EU 40 equals UK 10 or US 6 to 8. But always measure waist in cm. Equestrian brands (CT, Kentucky, RG) have their own tables that don't match regular fashion sizing.
  • For beginners we recommend RG Riders Gene full grip (around €160) or CT Academy with knee grip (around €255). RG full grip is a great option for intermediate too at reasonable price.
  • Usually no, elastic waist compresses belly. Special maternity breeches exist with adjustable waist, we stock them outside standard range, ask via WhatsApp.
  • Check breech length (outseam) - too short ends above knees causing chafe when bending. Try longer leg model or knee grip variant with softer silicone. Cavalleria Toscana Academy is ergonomically good here.
  • At first staining apply stain remover before washing (e.g. Vanish). Wash at 30 degrees, never above 40. No chlorine. Quality brands like CT keep white for years with proper care.
