R-Evo is CT's flagship with full seat silicone grip, technical stretch fabric and iconic cut. Academy is a slightly more accessible line with knee grip, commonly used for training and entry-level shows. R-Evo is the choice for higher-level show jumping and dressage.

When does full grip actually limit me?

At the start of your riding career or with occasional hobby riding, full silicone is unnecessary and can restrict natural movement. If you regularly jump above 80 cm or ride dressage at elementary+ level, full grip significantly helps stay in the saddle.

How does RG Riders Gene compare to CT?

RG has practically identical silicone pattern as CT at about 60 percent of the price. Cut is slightly more classic, fabric slightly less breathable, but perfectly adequate for 90 percent of riders. Stitching and silicone quality are comparable.

Do I need white breeches for competition?

For FEI and national level yes. For amateur and regional events light colours (beige, cream) are fine. Dressage tradition is white, show jumping often beige. Check your national federation rules.

Difference between breeches and leggings?

Classic breeches have closed ankle cuff for tall riding boots, leggings have elastic ankle for chaps and ankle boots. Functionally equivalent, dressage aesthetic prefers breeches with boots, training often leggings.

How should breeches be washed to last?

Inside out, 30 degrees, no fabric softener (damages silicone). Do not tumble dry. To extend life avoid softener – it changes the elastic fabric properties. Wash after every 3 to 5 training sessions.

What to do when breeches rip at crotch?

Most often a sign of too small size or incorrect leg crossing while seated. CT and Kentucky offer 6-month seam warranty. If cut is wrong, send photos via WhatsApp, we advise on warranty claim or size exchange.
